Who Says You Gotta Grow Up!

Who says we all have to grow up. Why can’t part of us remain a kid… forever? I say whatever makes you happy then do it! I have not always had this attitude. But over the years I have learned life is short. Catch all the joy and happiness you can. It can all be gone in an instant.

So for that reason, plus many more, liking losing my son, I decided to continue enjoying the kid inside. Part of that means I love the Winnie the Pooh cartoon character Eeyore. I have t-shirts, mugs, plaques, stuffed animals, etc.

I actually met Eeyore on a Disney World trip years ago. I really did feel like a kid then. So I say go for it. Enjoy the moments and make the best of what life throws your way. It will not always be good but something good can usually come out of every situation. Enjoy the moments!

  5. I also like Winnie the Pooh and the gang. I still have my Winnie the Pooh bear from childhood. I have read the A. A. Milne Pooh books many, many times. I even wrote a Master’s paper on ‘Winnie the Pooh. I got an ‘A’. We all should take lessons from Winnie and the gang.

  10. I strongly agree! Maintaining a part of myself as a child is very important for me to remain naive, easy to amaze, easy to absorb natural input, and dare to try for curiosity, in addition to being very easy to be happy. L??k at my face, so innocent and naive is not it?
