Dances from the 1970s

source

Moving on to the 1970s, my second favorite next to the 1960s, this was the era of polyester clothing, leisure suits, platform shoes, the Pet Rock, discoteques, roller disco, Afros and programs like “Soul Train” fueling the craze…and who can forget the movie that summed it all up?…”Saturday Night Fever”.

Some of the dances from this decade were the Camel Walk, Hustle, Bump, YMCA, Funky Chicken, Night Fever Line Dance, Robot, Disco Finger, Bus Stop, Kung Fu Fighting, Disco Slide, Lawnmower, Sprinkler, Electric Slide, Tango Hustle, Disco Swing, Continental and Hot Chocolate.

Did you experience the 1970s?  What was your favorite/least favorite part?  Do you remember these dances?

What do you think?
