The days have gone by fast

We sometimes give a big sigh

or possibly even cry

Why not embrace the future days

with pure hope

that lies beneath our skin

Life is fragile as we all know

but life can build our character

It can turn us into pillars of courage

that can weather our future storms.

Reflection

I have to daily remind myself of my purpose in life. I know many people need me. I MUST remain the strong pillar of hope. I could crumble at times, however, that type of life holds no promise, and is not appealing. LOOK for the good that is in the world. Carol, you have helped me in many ways. I also must thank Albert, Alex, alibb, Kim,Doc, and all the great Virily members that have supported me, and have helped me find the rainbow in my life once again, when I felt uncertain..It means a lot!

  1. Most inspirational poem. We can rely on others to give us strength as long as they are willing to be supportive and understanding. I find that I can rely online on people I have known for over 10 years and I have never met them personally. It is a great feeling.

    • Thank you RasmaDSandra! I know an online writer that gave me 150.00 when my late husband was killed on a motorcycle run. I have never met her, but she is a dear friend. Many here are just as special.

    Both you and Carol, have been inspirations for me. For hope and courage.
    Also this is a great opportunity to find new things.

    I find creativity helps me solve problems but then again we are living in a tapestry.
    We don’t understand everything that is around us or in our lives, but somedays you can see the other side of the tapestry, then everything makes sense
    It is all for the good.

    I think we are the leaves of the same tree and one, the part of the same rainbow, under the same sun, with the same essence of hope.

    We just need to be grateful that everything happened at His will, including our friendship here.
