A New Beginning (Part 14): Check your history!

To have a new beginning in the future, you must first learn from the mistakes of the past.  Reading about history will give you experience on how other people dealt with situations.  If the outcome was favorable, then you can copy that action to obtain a favorable result as well.  For example, reading about Winston Churchill showed me that I should remain courageous despite adversity.  His refusal to quit ensured that the British did not lose their country to Germany in World War II.

Learning about how others won will give you the incentive to also seek after victory.  Plus, you will learn about things that you would never learn in school because the school curriculum does not include everything.  You have to keep learning for yourself.
