8. What is this? It’s a concrete bench, moulded to resemble wood. There are small patches of moss here and there, and the whole is covered in frost. I was very impressed by the imaginative range of some of your guesses, folks 🙂

10. To me, it looks like a kind of rotten blanket-like cloth piece; covered under some kind of frost!

11. I see that there’s another straight edge at a right angle to the prominent one at the front. It’s straighter though, looks like metal. The front one reminds me of rock, but it looks fringed, with a uniting line along the bottom.
    It’s puzzling. I thought frost on raked earth, but that spindle shape near the front where lines combine looks like a natural process…
    Nup. You’ve got me stumped, Norman.

    • LOL, let me help you a little, then 🙂 This is a man-made object, designed to look as if it is made of a natural substance which it isn’t. It’s not metal. It’s not at a funny angle. It’s at normal magnification. It is functional and it’s in my garden 🙂

14. My initial thought was denim highly magnified but then there are things that look like pollen or dust particles under a scanning electron microscope. However, I’m guessing you don’t have one of those at home. Another possibility I considered was frost but I don’t think that’s it. I’m going with some sort of fabric because I can’t come up with a better option.

    • It’s a shot at normal magnification, neither micro nor macro. There is frost, and the question is on what. But it’s not fabric. Hint: it’s in my garden 🙂
