I have always had my eye on this Do-Rite Donuts & Coffee location because it sits along my bike route on W Randolph Street. And its donut statue always catches my eye after I cross N Dearborn Street while cycling within downtown Chicago.
I stopped in-between getting my vehicle repaired and ordered a cinnamon crunch donut w/ a coffee after briefly contemplating on their buttermilk old fashioned donut which the employee mentioned was a high seller. The candied maple bacon donut caught my eye too, but my taste buds just did not have any interest in it.
As for the cinnamon crunch donut, I compare its taste to an old-fashion plain donut with cinnamon sprinkled all around it. Yum! And it went perfectly with my coffee.

I got review of the day with it. Took me by surprise because the review wasn’t even up for a week. Trying to visit and review more downtown, but I just don’t have the urge to go downtown, other than riding my bike.

I get it literally every 3 months. Should be snagging it sometimes this month. I have been on point with my reviews thus far. I will be submitting a Superdawg Drive-In review either this weekend on next. That oughta make your taste buds go crazy once I share it in my Foodie Confession series. I ordered a cheese burger that had chicago style relish on it. Imagine that, yum!

They were expecting it, too. The one day they should be worried about is this weekend, September 5th. There are a lot of protests that are planned.

This stuff is exhausting. I went to one after George Floyd was killed, but I cannot imagine going to a handful of protests. I work, and when I am off I just want to relax or workout rather than being surrounded by protesters.
I also love donuts, but, do not eat them that much. There is one store that I have not been to in ages that when they have donuts out I like to buy them.
I eat them rarely. I get cravings every now and then for donuts.
