I won’t take any credit from this carved watermelon. One of my students did this. She offered this to her teachers, during the Wai Kru Wan celebration. Wai Kru Wan is like the Thailand’s version of Teacher’s Day.
Anyway, food carving is also one of Thai’s skills in food preparation.

I am going to butcher the phrase but “put pasa thai, my dai”, it has been many years. I have been back but not as much as my parents. My father loved Thailand.
ahh “Pud prasaa thai, mai dai”. ok “kaw chai, kah” anyway, i have been here for years but have never mastered their language yet.
