On the odd occasion that I watch talent shows, it is normally when I’m looking for performances by a particular singer and find it on YouTube. I don’t watch the programs when they are aired, as a rule.
I was specifically looking for songs by a particular singer when I can across this one, having nothing to do with the artist I was looking for. This man is not only Chinese but he also barely understands English and doesn’t speak it. Yet, what he does with an American country song is phenomenal and knocks it out of the ballpark. His talent is amazing, especially since he doesn’t even know our language.

He clearly surprised the stars who were there to hear him, too. Although I don’t usually watch shows like this, I love it when someone goes on stage with such surprising talent.

Yes. He nailed the song and did it so beautiful that it would be easy to imagine that he is American, though he definitely isn’t and even needed an interpreter.

True. If a person couldn’t see him, they would have no idea by just listening to the song that he is Asian and doesn’t even speak English.
