Before his untimely death, Michael Jackson said that ‘Heal the World’ was his most favourite song. It was the song he was very proud to have created.
The song was released in 1992. He composed and wrote the song and together with Bruce Sweden, they produced the song.
Later, he created a nonprofit (charitable) organisation, ‘Heal the World Foundation.’ The purpose of the organisation was to improve the livelihood of children and to teach the importance and how to help others.
This is my most favourite song of Michael Jackson. It emphasizes that each of us has a part to play on earth. We can make the lives of people better by loving each other and helping each other.
There are different ways to give including encouraging and uplifting one’s spirit.
Michael Jackson was a very impressive performer..
I can’t agree more with your statement. He was indeed an impressive performer.
I like that song which is very touching.
I can’t get over the song. I always listen to it. Glad to know you love the song too.
This is one of my favorite songs from Michael Jackson too. Another song I like is “We are the world”. Thanks for sharing this beautiful song!
Thank you, kaka135. We are the world is also my other favourite one.
Such a powerful message. Thank you for the reminder.
Thank you, Carol. We all have a part to play, one way or another.
No matter how things went for him, he still is one of the best singers of our time.
You are right, Fortune. He is still one of the memorable artists.
Loved his music, just sad he turned out the way he did.
It’s sad. His father was partly responsible for MJ’s desire to change his skin colour.
I was talking about him being a pedophile. His father also responsible.
I remember the first time I heard Michaels’s voice. He remains an all-time great! For me Thriller, beat it and some of the Jackson Five stuff (when he was younger).
I agree. Heal the world, we are the world, black or white are my favourite ones.
Maya Angelou once wrote “I am colorblind” I only see the heart in front of me. (I think I changed her quote a little)
