My rating for this movie is a 5 out of 5.
First off, I am a huge fan of the early 1960’s Batman TV show. The recent passing of Adam West (Star of that show) made me very sad.
I really enjoyed the campy humor in the Lego Batman movie. FIrst off, the movie conveyed the enjoyment of that old TV Series, secondly it really was a lot of fun to relax and watch.
The top interplay in the movie is between the Joker and Batman. I laughed so many times, as the hero (Batman) struggled with difficult situations that would have normally been the problem given the villian (loss of fmaily, inability to connect to other people.).
Overall the movie is a romp. They did a fantastic job bringing everything together. It is available on Blu-Ray/DVD or also on the various streaming services.
I will say it once and I will say it many times. Give me the funny Batman over the Friday Night At The Fights Batman.
