The carziest TV show of the 90s and yet here we are with each and every moment from that show still being able to bring back some nostalgic moments to us.
Chandler’s sarcastic jokes, Joey’s never sharing food thing and understanding things a little late nature, Phoebe’s songs(I love those!) and her far too spontaneous attitude towards life, Rachel and Ross’s on and off relationship and Monica’s ‘I’m the host’ thing(she fed all 5 of her friends for 10 long years. Great woman!).
Some of the most amazing conversations of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. that will certainly make you relive the scenes and those episode once again if you go through them. Trust me, you will be smiling when you finish reading this.
1. When Rachel finds out Ross’s list
Season: 2 Episode: 8
Rachel: Chandler wrote something about me on that paper and I want to see it!
Ross: Chandler isn’t that the short story you were writing?
Rachel: Short story? And I’m in it? I want to read it!
Ross, Joey, Chandler: NO!
Joey: Why don’t you read it to her?
Chandler: It was summer… and it was hot. Rachel was there… A lonely grey couch…”OH LOOK!” cried Ned, and then the kingdom was his forever. The End.
#2 Phoebe sings a song after Rachel and Ross kissed last night
Season: 2 Episode: 8
Phoebe: Ok, um, hi, hello, ..hi, ok, so, um,..this is a song about a love triangle between three people that I made up. Um, it’s called, um, “Two of Them Kissed Last Night”……..
There was a girl, we’ll call her Betty, and a guy let’s call him Neil.
Now I can’t stress this point too strongly, this story isn’t real.
Now our Neil must decide, who will be the girl that he casts aside.
Will Betty be the one who he loves truly? Or will it be the one who we’ll call Ju…Loolie?
He must decide, he must decide, even though I made him up, he must decide!
#3 When Joey and Chandler flips coin to decide which baby is Ben
Season: 2 Episode: 6
Joey: Uh, uh, we’ll flip for it, ducks or clowns.
Chandler: Oh, we’re gonna flip for the baby?
Joey: You got a better idea?
Chandler: All right, call it in the air.
Chandler: Heads it is.
Joey: Yess! Whoo!
Chandler: We have to assign heads to something!
Joey: Right, okay, okay, uhhh, ducks is heads, because ducks…have heads.
Chandler: What kinda’ scary-ass clowns came to your birthday!?
#4 When Joey tries to take away the award
Season: 7 Episode: 18
Rachel: Joey, you can’t steal an award.
Joey: I’m not stealing it. I’m accepting it on her behalf.
Rachel: You don’t even know what behalf means.
Joey: I know what it means. It’s a verb. As in, I behalfing it.
#5 The one with the Dirty Girl
Season: 4 Episode: 6
Joey: Her place was really that bad?
Ross: You know how you throw your jacket on a chair at the end of the day? Well, like that — only, instead of a chair, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of a jacket, it’s a pile of garbage. And instead of the end of the day, it’s the end of time and garbage is all that has survived!
#6 Joey trying to understand HOMOsapiens
Season: 3 Episode: 8
Joey: Hey, Ross, I got a science question: If the homo sapiens were, in fact, HOMO sapiens…is that why they’re extinct?”
Ross: Joey, homo sapiens are PEOPLE.
Joey: Hey, I’m not judgin’!
#7 Monica shouts on everybody
Season: 4 Episode: 8
Monica: Fine! Judge all you want but married a lesbian, left a man at the alter, fell in love with a gay ice dancer, threw a girl’s wooden leg in a fire, LIVE IN A BOX!
#8 Ross gets all tanned
Season: 10 Episode: 3
Ross: I went to the tanning place your wife suggested.
Chandler: Was that place the sun?
#9.. Joey’s extra smart suggestions to problems
Joey: Suppose we’re a divorced couple.
Joey: And I got custody of the kid, right? Now, suppose the kid dies and I gotta buy a new kid.
Joey: Listen, the last day of auditions is Thursday, okay, so I gotta get in there by Thursday. Okay, just remember Thursday. Thursday, can you remember Thursday?
Chandler: Yeah, so, Tuesday?
Joey: Thursday! Look, if you need help remembering just think of it like this: the third day. All right, Monday, one-day, Tuesday, two-day, Wednesday, when? huh? what day? Thursday! The third day, okay?
Chandler: Thank you.
#10 Chandler’s sarcastic comments
Phoebe: “I just realized something. Joker is poker with a j… coincidence?”
Chandler: “Hey, that’s ‘joincidence’… with a c.”
Joey: “I kind of had a dream. (Pause) But I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Chandler: “Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! What if Martin Luther King had said that?”
Chandler: “I just don’t get it. We didn’t do anything wrong!”
Monica: “I know. Although you did tell an awful lot of jokes.”
Chandler: “I thought you said those jokes were funny! Joke, joke, joke, joke!”
Monica: “Joke, joke, blah, blah!”
Chandler: “Well maybe it was all of your questions.”
Monica: “What was wrong with my questions?”
Chandler: “The sheer volume. It was like flying with The Riddler.”
Monica: “I’m sorry, was that another joke?”
Chandler: “Was that another question?”
I hope you enjoyed reading this.
If I had to pick one as my favorite, I would not be able to do so. Each one of them has their own individual personality. The credit to such an amazing TV show goes to the creators Kevin S. Bright, David Crane, and Marta Kauffman and also the entire star cast. The last episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. was aired more than a decade ago(May 6, 2004) but it is still fun to watch anytime anywhere.
Who do you think is your favorite? And what are your some of the favorite parts?
