Samurai helmet and mask – WIP

You never know when you’re going to need a samurai helmet, and it never hurts to be prepared so here I am doing materials tests on a samurai helmet. I thought I’d stick this guy in culture…

#2 dull

at this point the helmet and mask are sorted, but I will spend the rest of the time trying different textures for those copper horns

they don't even look real here

probably the best of the lot, but still doesn't look very realistic

raw render, with an overly shiny helmet

perhaps a little TOO beat up?

Number 6 is excellent, but this works for me in the right way, realistically. It’s a mask of warriors, and it should be like this.

I like #5 grotty; but I think it’s just a little bit too grotty. Found another glitch the past few days. When I try to type an answer under the individual pictures, I can only type one letter and then the page freezes up and I have to come completely out of the page and go back in or it will stay frozen. Sigh.
