Today we went to Wendy’s for lunch and this tree was sitting in the area where people sit down to eat. I knew I had to photograph it and share it in the challenge. It was just so pretty. I have always liked green trees because they are traditional. This tree was just so pretty with the white branches and colorful ornaments.
I edited the photo a little bit and added the frosty edges…I think it gives it kind of a winter feeling.
What do you all think of this photograph? What kind/color of Christmas trees do you like? Also, what ornaments do you like? Do you follow a certain color theme?

A legend tells of a very poor carpenter. Many years ago he met a fasting child on Christmas Eve. Although he was really poor, the carpenter gave the child food and shelter for the evening. When he woke up the next morning, he found a beautifully brilliant tree in front of his door. According to the legend, the child was actually the Christ who appeared to the carpenter. To reward the good man, he gave him the Christmas tree.
Thank you for sharing this story, it’s very good to know.
Wonderful! I love white Christmas trees decorated with pink and other soft color ornaments. But I also love a classical green tree with red and gold ornaments. They are all beautiful!
Both of those sound great!! We have a green tree with no color theme lol
We also end up not having a theme, haha. I saw photos of Christmas trees decorated with flowers, or with cute plush toys, I loved both ideas.
This reminds me of growing up we had a silver tree! I like the artificial green ones, not as messy as the live ones.
That’s very cool…a silver tree sounds fun. I agree about the artificial ones over live ones….thank you for sharing 🙂
And we had the revolving rainbow colored light. Fun days.
The atmosphere is getting more and more closer to Christmas and the end of the Year, is not it Courtney?
You are right, it definitely is!
