Shadows… it sounds like something dark and frightening. When I was a child, I feared all the dark corners. I had a vivid imagination, and everywhere I saw witches, werewolves, and all other horror creatures.
But I grew up. And understood that what looks dark not always is dark and frightening. Sometimes shadows remind funny figures. Sometimes you search for a shadow even when want to hide from the sun heat. Shadow can remind something funny. It all depends on your attitude, how you look at the world and how you see it.
The shade follows us, we want it or we don’t want it, it doesn’t leave us even in daylight.
It is dual. There are dark night’s shadows, and shadows in daylight. Shadows in my photo cannot scare you or remind about something unpleasant. To me, these shadows remind about my first travel to Turkey.
Have fun!
The place and picture are great. If there is too much shade the world will freeze. If there is too much light it will burn. – Richard Dubeel
Shadows at times can reveal more of what is there than the brightest sunlight can.
Wonderful picture.
Great capture and with wonderful skill
Lovely photo, I also had a vivid imagination as a child and used to look under my bed for tigers, partly because of TV.
Shadows give pictures their depth. I like shadows.
What a wonderful capture of a great view.
You are right, shadow is a part of us so we should like it too. It’s easier and more fun.
What a beautiful photo Fortune. And I agree with you. Shadows can be beautiful if embraced.
