The first time I heard this song I bought the single. Why? Because my daughter and I listened to this song (and still listen to this song). It is an awesome song about a father and daughter relationship. It makes me cry when I hear it.
Bob Carlise is the singer, while i spent most of my youth listening to Rock and Roll, I do love many country songs. This one tops the list.
