I discovered this covered bridge in Paso Robles Wine County in a round-about way. I saw a painting of it in an art gallery without knowing where it was found. After all, covered bridges aren’t usually found in an area where rain is scarce. I asked the artist where she saw the bridge and was amazed when she said it was at Halter Ranch in Paso Robles — a local winery. I decided to find the bridge the next day, and I did.
As my husband and I walked around in the late afternoon, we crossed the bridge. I looked down and saw our shadows beneath me. So I took this picture. I think it’s one of the most unique in my collection of thousands of photos. What do you think?

This could be framed!! Perfect in every way! Never lose this one.
I do intend to keep it. I love shadow photos. Lucky accidents are the most fun of all.
Shadow-pictures can be fun. I might even need to practice a few of these types, too.
I’m anxious to see what you will come up with.
Such a lovely and cute photo!
I was pretty happy to discover the photo op.
Such wonderfully long shadows
The late afternoon sun was good to me.
It most certainly was!
I need all the help I can get from Mother Nature!
or just have some good timing
Beautiful photo of shadows.
Thank you very much, Branka.
What a great photo. You have a good eye for photos. The shadows really brings out the details of everything in a photo.
I do love this particular photo. I never would have thought of trying to make it happen, but when I saw it, I knew I had to snap it.
Some moments are like that. We need more of them.
It would certainly add to our collections of unique photos.
Good to see you again Barb. Hope things are good in your world.
