I’m going to take part in the 365 Photos Challenge, now that one don’t have to be nominated. Always fun and challenging to start something new. And this is my first entry, Day 1. “The road to nowhere,” through the barren desert of Iceland.”
Here are the rules on the 365 Photos Challenge.
Lovely photo and I should join this challenge, plenty of places to go which look like nowhere.
I am only one year late on commenting only our post. Sorry!
Thank you very much!
Enjoyed this amazing shot of a place I will probably only see in photos. Looking forward to more pics as you participate in the challenge.
I will, but not all of them will be landscape because my favorite “photoland” is the small things on the ground. But there will be some because I know that people want to see the landscape of Iceland, that’s why people come here mostly. But there is also more to see. Iceland got tundra vegetation and the small flowers that grow in the barren sand and rocky environment are my favorites.
Welcome to Virily. Nice to see Iceland through your eyes!
Thank you very much, Ileana!
Welcome aboard and also for this challenge, Bragi. Your photos are very inspiring! With just one picture, you have managed to show the uniqueness of Iceland!
Thank you so much, Albert! It’s maybe because how much I love my land : )
You’re welcome, Bragi. Love the homeland, if not us, then who else, right?
OMG, Yes, we have a photog from Iceland. I can’t wait to see your country, well through your eyes. I have watched documentaries, and my boss is from Iceland. They just moved here to Southern California, and are adjusting slowly, but I can see why. Such a lovely Island there.
Thank you Kim. Yes, you will see more photos from Iceland, but not so much beautiful landscape like most people like but more barren like this one. And also because I’m one of those that got my eyes more stuck to the ground then on the land. I’m a lover of decay, dead leaves, and dying flowers are in special favor : )
