Our officials are suggesting that everyone stay inside still. The air quality is dangerous. This being one week after our Lilac Fire started in San Diego County California. The fire is now 96% contained. This is not the only fire we are getting smoke from though, there are several fires still blazing in Southern California. Our Lilac fire burned 4100 acres, but the biggest one is now being recorded as the 5th biggest fire recorded in history as of yesterday. It has burned 370 square miles and is now only 25% contained. You can see the smoke from space. Since we are not allowed outside, I send this to you from my back door.
Meika is ready to get out and run, I think she is getting cabin fever..
This is day 18 for me, if you would like to join in and challenge yourself to a photo a day here are the rules. The more the merrier, come join us!
Here are the rules and guidelines.
So tragic seeing the fires on the news.
Stay safe and I hope it stops soon.
Yes it is, this is the new normal with the weather changing.. I am not ready for sure.
This is not a nice problem. Let us hope in a very short time to stop.
No, its not. Frowns. My eyes are itchy, everyone is coughing, sneezing. We need rain!! The fire is now 98% contained. : )
I really hope you don’t get the same cabin fever, Kim, even though the photos from inside are still beautiful.
Thank you, I did a mini photo session with the plants and stuff in the yard yesterday. I had to go out and water, so I brought my camera. I do hope we can go on a hike soon though.
I hope so, Kim. I really hope so!
