Lilacs should be blooming in April. We are halfway through the month and no blooms yet. They smell wonderful. This photo was from last year at this time. I am still hoping for spring weather soon. It kind of dampers your mood when the cold temperatures continue for so long. But I plan to get out and enjoy the sunshine later today and take my camera along. Maybe I will return with a few surprises. We will see. Everyone have a great day.

I went outside in between raindrops and saw my lilacs are just starting to bud out. A good sign.

I love the flavor of lilac. If you put it in a vase, the whole house smells of its smell.
