This is my beloved rescue basset- dachshund Fred. Fred is the king of the house here. He has much love and is a wonderful older dog. Fred is a great guard dog. He barks at every noise he hears.
I love this photo because he looks so comfortable and happy.

Yes, Fred is the king, but he deserves to be pampered a little, I believe rescue dogs need that.

Thanks, he is part basset hound and part dachshund. Although, I would say he has more basset in him.
