Can you identify the object in the photo? If so, write it in the comments. Thank goodness it had a clear protective cover over it but the outside of it was completely iced over. Now the predictions are saying that we may have snow coming tomorrow. It is definitely January weather. I am waiting for the return of spring eventually. Staying inside where it is warm. How is your weather?

This is beautiful but scary! We had a warm winter so far, but today it started snowing again.
I know, I don’t like the ice. It thawed out a little but never got out of the 20s today.
It looked like some soap dish and not an electrical outlet! Having experienced winter, I appreciate better the 2 seasons in my country. Too many layering of clothes means a lot of things to wash lol. And I can bear the cold most of the times except when the wind starts to blow and I think I wanna go back to the hot Philippines haha
I know, it was perfectly encased! So cool to see but the ice was not going anywhere. The bird bath is frozen and I cannot budge the ice. But it will all eventually thaw out. I am with you, cannot handle the wind, it cuts through you.

Our January is very mild so far…hoping it stays that way!

What is the cold for you? Today and here the weather is unusually cold. It becomes a question of 13C. Here we are used to being over 20C. And always have a Sun.
We are in the teens right now with a light snow, just a dusting of snow.
Is it a light? Brrr – I’m getting cold just looking at that! Stay warm, Carol. Here it’s gone wet and is staying about 6 degrees (freezing is zero) day and night, but with big winds it feels a lot colder.
An electrical outlet outside my home. Wow that is cold. WE are having light snow right now, since yesterday.
Oh my, it’s on the same wall as your mailbox but I don’t think that is it. A utility box, or gate opener?
