I am continuing with the 365 Photos Challenge and I am now on Day 50. Anyone can join in, you do not have to be nominated. Here are the rules on the 365 Photos Challenge.
We are in the middle of a very cold winter. The temperatures are frigid in the single digits at night and barely above freezing during the day. We should get rain soon, that will thaw out some of the ice, including the frozen bird bath and mailbox. Thank goodness the mail delivers no matter what the weather brings. Stay warm for all of you going through ice and snow! Spring will be here before we know it.

interesting writings love it!!!!! # iced mail
Oh dear – I bet you’re not used to that!! Our postman pushes the letters through a slot in the front door, so we don’t have to go outside to get them 🙂
You are lucky but at least I get a little exercise. 🙂
Oh wow…that is cold! Great photograph though….thank you for sharing
Thanks, it was so neat to see and frigid!
Talk about a cold day for any mail carrier to deliver the mail.
Yes indeed but they deliver no matter the weather!
Unless it is a major disaster like floods or it is impossible to be on the roads.
Absolutely and I hope that doesn’t happen!
I agree with you since I have been through Hurricane Katrina and I do remember the television broadcasts saying that if the rescue teams could not make it to assist anyone, you are on your own.
Such a cold radiates this picture. You’ll just keep me cold. We have Sun and Heat.
Yes it is frigid here right now. That is what happens in winter, January.
I have sent a frozen letter there and because the postman it must have reached the box, and it must remain frozen until you pick it up.
It is funny that I don’t actually receive frozen mail!
Is it true? it was weird because it came along with the postman, rain, and ice… Hehehe…
Where the mailmen carry chisels. Does it cost more if its frozen? Grins, hope the thaw comes soon for you.
I know, they do not get paid enough for what they have to do to deliver the mail. Rain is here now but more cold is coming.
I am enjoying all this rain Kim, love the moodiness. 🙂
We had a storm yesterday morning, a real storm. Very high winds, I will post pictures soon. It rained so much, we sure needed it.
Yes you did need the rain. I hope the mudslides were far away form you. More tragedies.
Yes, they are up near LA. So good so far here.
