LaJenna has started a challenge titled Haiku Poetry 10-day Challenge. I am on Day 2 of the 10-day Challenge. You can click to read her post Haiku Poetry 10-day Challenge for the simple rules. No nominations, anyone can join. Start posting your thoughts, it is refreshing! Now I begin my second 5-7-5 syllable haiku. *************************************************************************************
The snow is falling
My mind goes back to snow days
You are always there
**************************************************************************************
It has been snowing all day. I always think of Dustin as he loved the snow. And he knew schools would usually be closed when it snowed! We built snowmen and threw snowballs at each other. So many memories as I watch the snow fall.
I know you would expect a snow photo with this post but I have shared snow articles and photos all day so I decided to change this one up a bit to make it more special. This photo of the sky was taken from my deck. I added some words to the photo and hope the text is big enough for you to read. I can translate if not.
The photo text says… One day I will see you Dustin, Until then I will keep looking up. Send signs down to your Mom.
