That is an image I took accidentally two days ago. It happened after I took a picture of raindrops.
This is the shape of the pillar I had taken by accident.
Accidentally? coincidence? It seems so, but I really do not believe it. How about you?
In general, most people feel that everything they have; career, spouse, power, fame, or anything else is merely the fruits of what they have planned and done before. We are the one who controls it at all to become what it is today?
I’ve also believed in that point of view before and I have motivated many people in my many talks, training, and consulting projects. I just experienced the transformation of thought more than fifteen years ago, after a certain spiritual experience in a meditation, I saw and fully realized the whole journey of my life to the point that it was not a result of my full efforts and or intelligence but also not a coincidence.
Have you ever experienced an incredible coincidence so that it left you stunned? If you ever experience it, then you have just walked into the fantastic world of Synchronicity.
Over the years I have talked and helped the world of organizations and businesses about corporate or personal vision, designing strategic planning taking into account all aspects associated with it. With such experiences, I have seen that a small chance alone can bring more advancement than expected or make it fail entirely. Our most carefully planned project can be ruined by a single chance event, but a seemingly ridiculous idea could be a huge success due to chance! All of our decisions which are based on logic never goes as we expect precisely. But no matter how clever we are, it is never enough.
Many people then no longer agree with my thoughts. Well, that’s okay. But why? Because people prefer the idea that they are in complete control of their lives; their successes and failures.
We who are thought that we are clever, so confident in our ability and sophistication, either scientific and technological sophistication, can we predict or see what will happen tomorrow? Even a small change, even a tiny insignificant change has enormous consequences like the butterfly effect. Can you see or realize how a small change affects your whole life?
For me, there is no such thing as chance or coincidence. I realize that your posts, even your shortest comments, upvote or downvote have been affecting me. Synchronicity springs from the deepest source of destiny. Synchronicity is the law of unity. We are all linked by way of our unconscious. We are connected by unknown forces. We unconsciously send messages to our thoughts. We all are connected, there is no separation between you and anyone or anything. The rules of cause and effect don’t apply to synchronistic events.
The experiences of us all are written into the database of the universe. So you have access to all the knowledge of the past, present, and future.
You don’t have to believe me, you should not believe my point of view. But I am very happy if you can prove that my view is wrong, not with the theory to argue, but with your deepest experience and awareness.
If you curious and eager to participate in this challenge, here are the rules and guidelines to join.
Another interesting and thought-provoking post, Albert! I really like your way of thinking, and the topics you pick. On a funny note, most people believe that their success is in result of their effort, and their failure is due to external forces.
I love to write everything that has been a question in my head when I was young, pretty much what I realize now, but increasingly unlimited that has not been reached.
Well, that’s how we are, happy to pat the chest to show greatness but look for scapegoats to blame when we fail. I am convinced that it is a lesson that we must take and complete.
Absolutely agree Albert. I used to think everything happened for a reason and there were coincidences in life. But after many experiences over the years I have realized life in a different light. It is what it is. Pretty much sums up my viewpoint. What will be will be. Many cliches but these two I believe in. I try to overthink many things way too often. Working on that one. As for everything happening for a reason, I would like for one person to tell me, if that statement is correct…. why did my child die? What reason could that possibly be? To keep me in a lifetime nightmare?
Sorry, got way off point there Albert.
I am sure you understand everything I mean in this writing, including the relationship with your beloved son. I know that no matter how intelligent we are, no matter how hard our mind is to seek and accept all the excuses, still it must be hard to understand. But I believe the answer is available in your heart, in our spirituality and you have all the spiritual intelligence to receive and understand it.
Thanks for your support.
Pleasure is mine, Carol. As always
Yesterday all day I could not get in. Full control can not be said. Because we do not manage ourselves. But I believe when thinking is positive. Things are more predictable and surprises are good. We have a lot of chances and we have to make sure we do not miss them.
I am experiencing the same thing, my friend. This post should have been posted yesterday but I can not login too.
I agree with your point of view. For me, falling and waking, crying and laughter, etc. are the trips that have been determined by our response with good and wise. More than three decades ago, I was a stutter and a very shy person, until then “one coincidence” changed me and became a professional speaker.
In terms of cover picture, Virily has managed to solve the problem. All images have appeared as they should.
What a fantastic read, Albert. Nobody is in complete control of their lives, not even the biggest control freaks. Every day brings different challenges that needs to be over come and circumstances that nobody would be able to foresee. However, we do have a choice how we deal with it.
You’re right, Della. Truly we merely controlling a small part of our lives. Indeed we do have the choice of dealing with what we know or realize comes to us but can not do much toward something we don’t know or realize. Besides, what comes to us, whether expected or not, and otherwise does not come to us, is it coincidence? I do not think so.
Nope, I agree with you. Definitely not coincidence.
Let’s do everything necessary to pick up and respond to coincidences. Hehehe…
