Athens, Greece in the good old days (one week ago, in fact 🙂 ) This was the last full day of a week-long break in the city, and although it was quite cool (temperatures in the mid-teens), it was pleasant to sit in the winter sunshine and sip a coffee here at the Blue Parrot (Μπλε Παπαγάλος) on Leonidas Street.
For this photo, I chose a sepia effect, to help give a old-worldly atmosphere. Do you think it works?
Lovely photo, such a great effect.
Thanks very much for the appreciation, Maggie 🙂
Nice photo, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, SR!??. 🙂
Fantastic painting … the effect gives her a special charm
Your words are very kind! Thank you for your encouragement 🙂
Well, I love it, this means it definitely works! Excellent photo, got my mind wondering.
Thank you, Gogata! I like when a photo does that to my mind 🙂
Very special vibes of the photo, like a scene from an old film… (or not an old but very refined film)
Haha, thank you, Natalya. I’m very glad you like it 🙂
Why of course it works, exceptionally. It creates an atmosphere. An inviting place we would all wish to visit.
Thank you, Carol! Of all the beautiful and amazing places I visited in Athens, this was perhaps the most relaxing, and sometimes that’s just what you need 🙂
