We came around the corner and returned to the age of dinosaurs. I am not sure you would want to run into this guy in a dark alley. In fact, I suspect you probably would want to run into him or her pretty much anywhere with limited mobility. Just another enjoyable art presentation in the museum we visited on Sunday. This is not a wall loaded (such as the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam) museum. Each display and creation has space around it. Some o they include motion and movement so that space becomes critical. This dinosaur was constructed from things we would normally consider to be trash. But put together this way it is art. Now, we could argue that yes as art it is important, but I would still prefer to see that type of stuff recycled more.
That, however, is me, and my bias.
Anyone can join the photo challenge, – you don’t even have to live in Baltimore!
Way to re-purpose for sure. Great piece there Doc!
repurposing is a good term for it! It was an interesting find.
agree, it is art no matter the material. I just wish there wasn’t so much of the material available to make things like this.
Wow this is amazing art. Something so simple can turn into an incredible art piece.
It is a really impressive museum, Baltimore is trying to make a come back (again)!
That is great news. Many places are starting to do that no matter what the news stories say. However…. never mind.
