The image today was hard to take. It’s from the dining room of our house, and the table and chairs prevent the perfect picture. What you see is some of the displayed glass plates my wife, one of the twins and daughter have made. There is a studio where you go, and create your glass plate, they then fire it in a kiln, and you pick it up. We don’t eat on them although you could. Instead we display them. They sit on the curio cabinets my wife got. Inside the curio cabinet are the many things my wife’s mother left her. There was also a massive china hutch, but my wife didn’t like the hutch, so it was passed to an antoher family that would enjoy it more. Inside the cabinets are the many plates, dishes and items my mother-in-law collected over her life.
But on top is the art of my family.
Yes, they all like bright colors.
Anyone can join the photo challenge – snap a picture, (back it up somewhere) and then share it!!!!
How beautiful. Your wife really has talent. I would love to try this one day.
She has done this several times now (Twice with our daughter and once with one of the twins)!
I think your family art enlightens the atmosphere of your home, Coach!
It really does, I love art, I am just not artistic!
Lovely photo and colours.
Thanks, the artistic talent in our family skipped me!
