Technology is continuously evolving and improving. There are great improvements in the way we do things.
1. Long Distance Communication has evolved from snail mail to face to face conversation using different apps such as messenger and Skype. We can do almost everything using the internet.
2. From having to buy from brick and mortar stores, we can now buy things online, book our flights and hotel accommodations using the internet.
3. We can see other places without actually going to that place using the Street.
And most of all, we can now establish our career online. If given a chance, would you give up your day job for an online job?
I gave up my career and work from home.
Yes working from home in the future will definetly reduce traffic congestion
Informative post. So useful
Useful information. Thanks for sharing.
It’s hard to find a job where I live. Most of the jobs available don’t allow you to earn enough for a living. Working from home is more of a necessity than a whim, but language barriers are the biggest obstacles for Southern Europeans.
I enjoy every bit of it too. A few weeks ago one of my coworkers called me with the video chat. it was so weird using it, but I wish I had it back when I live outside of the United States. I use websites like Periscope often to watch live streams of church services which I enjoy when I’m not in the mood to attend services at my regular church.
Thank you, Thomas, for sharing your experience about the new technology with us. Yes, I often use video call services to communicate with my children when I am at work.
I work from home for two major companies. I find that it works well for me. I have learned a lot about working from home and the pros and cons.
Hi Ghostwriter! Thank you for sharing your thought on this topic. I am also contemplating pursuing a full-time online career but I am not yet very confident that this type of work can help me sustain. So I am doing it on a part-time and I am enjoying it.
technology is so advanced that I just can not get it, dear friend … work from home is a very good innovation
Thank you for visiting Lado and for sharing your thought on this. I think you are good at it because you can share your expertise here in Virily. I have been working online since 2012 and with that span of time, I tried to teach other friends but most of them gave up. Currently, I don’t know anybody (personally) that works online like me. Most of the friends I have who are working online are those I met online too.
I’ve already tried some things myself and quickly quit … it’s pretty complicated for me, and I’m not a genius for a computer … thank you for a nice explanation, dear Sharon
I only work online on a part-time. But I am glad to have a site where I can earn some good amount. It may not be that big but it can help me with my daily expenses.
I can earn around $200 per month last year (2018) from one site by writing long contents. But now, members of the site started to get disappointed because of a huge drop in the earnings. But I am deciding to stay because I think it is only temporary. I hope the site could still recover.
Thanks for sharing, I am since I am staying at the second tier city.
Thank you, too for dropping by Tiada. I also work online to get additional income because, with the continuous increase in prices of the commodities, it is not practical to have only one source of income.
I worked from home because of health problems and this is about 5 years. Because of the Internet and computer, I did not have any problems at work and I could work normally.
Oh, I’m sorry to learn about the health problem but yes, with the current technology, working from home is such a big help.
I would want to stay home than rush/squeeze with the crowd and spend time traveling to the workplace and then back …
Hi Alibb! Yes, one of the benefits of working from home is we can save the time spent on the daily commute. Oh well, I wish I could work at home on full time.
You’ll have to start a blog if you want to … or maybe sell something … I’m not sure … :/
Yes, I have my own blog and I also blog for a third-party site. There was even a time when I write as a ghostblogger. But time constraint forced me to give up my other online activities.
