Papaya, Fruit Of Contentment.

Papayas grow well in South Africa especially in the coastal ares. Papaya contains an enzyme called papain that aids digestion; besides eating the fruit, we use the leaves as a meat tenderizer. Papaya is also high in fiber and water content, both of which help to prevent constipation and promote regularity and a healthy digestive tract.

    • Hello Andre. I started eating last week when I read an article on the benefits of papaya. I bought one last week. I forgot to buy another one till I read your article. I have bought another pawpaw.
I will post my results after a week or two weeks. Thanks Andre.

    • Hello Branka, I wonder if your name is similar in meaning to Bianca in Italian, or Blanke in Afrikaans, (my language) and White in English? Mmm, curious. The more I find different new names for people and things in life, the more I discover that we are all one huge family. Thank you for commenting, regards, Andre’

    • Natalya if you can get them even dried they are healthy. Perhaps the only problem worth mentioning, is that all the vitamins and sugars are concentrated so it it is best not to eat too much at once. Have a wonderful weekend! Regards, Andre’

    • WOW! Carol, you are so very lucky! Because just image that wonderful sensation the moment those millions of flavo-noids hit your taste-buds for the very first time, I will never have that first experience ever again! Lol. Thanks for commenting Carol.
