It is difficult to sleep 8 hours for some people suffering from insomnia. Sleep disorders are becoming common these days. We come across so many people who sleep as little as 3 or 4 hours per day. A certain amount of rest is critical to rejuvenate the mind and body. When we sleep less, it can leave us in a bad mood and headaches.
Good sleep is the first step towards a healthy life. I have tried many things at different points of time. Now I have identified 7 lifestyle changes that help me sleep better. Quitting sugar is a critical first step. Exercise, walking, and replacing caffeine intake with lemon water also contribute a lot. It is important to keep our minds calm and avoid the usage of mobile phones in night time. The things that have worked for me need not work for another person. But there is no harm in trying these lifestyle changes. Hope this helps someone.
This will help someone for sure.
I sleep like a baby, but wake up sharp at 5 o’clock even if I go to bed late. 6-7 hours of sleep is one thing I need regularly.
I am OK although I need to get up to visit the bathroom
It is good that you sleep well. I don’t want anyone to go through the hell I went through for long. Luckily, things are better now.
Happy for you that you have better sleep now
Thankfully I do not have problems going to sleep.
That is great. Let it stay that way.
got rid of caffeine and sugar back in high school for exactly that reason. it didn’t help with the insomnia but it was the right choice for my body regardless…
I totally agree with you. Removing sugar from diet is something everyone should do. I really wonder why there are no statutory warnings in packs that sugar consumption is injurious to health.
because people like sugar?
Drinking a glass of milk before sleeping helps. Do not use electronic devices two hours before going to sleep
