Dorcas is a character from Gene Wolfe’s The Book of the New Sun, so I’m going to have to read it again before I do any more work on this piece. While her skintone is spot on, I am not entirely committed to the pose or her hair color and she’s going to need a dress

Here's what she looks like before all the postwork. This oleander looks much better, so I will be using it
I prefer hair with darker tones in it.
I make an effort not to let my personal preferences dictate my palette, but rather to create a harmonious color scheme for each piece
