Your gripe in teardrops
on that Valentine’s Night
about the empty space in your heart
after the love disaster
has dazzled me
touched and think hard
to answer your question
how to remove that emptiness
at least
reducing the breadth of emptiness
but this night I tell you
rent all that empty space
thus
who knows
you’ll have neighbors in your heart.

fantastic and professional image! ## interesting
Thank you very much, Jasmine
Thank you very much, but that is just another heart image, my friend.
No problem at all, my friend. It was just my way to smell the perfume without swallowing it.
Many people around me say that I use too many symbols when I speak, sometimes too philosophical, and that will make some people do not catch my point. What I mean by perfume is “praise”, where I always learn not to get drunk by praise, (upss…) not feeling smug by any praise.
Lovely photo and poem to go with it. I’ve never thought of renting out empty space in my heart when I’ve had it.
Thank you so much for your appreciation, Barbara. The word is just a parable with the smell of humor to invite us to reflect on our hearts.
It seems so many try to fill that emptiness with all the wrong things. The void can only be filled with love, all else is superficial. Brilliant, brother!
Can I borrow your third eye so I can also read your point as you read my point?
Eye, grin, beak, feather, scale or tail fin. Whats mine is yours, poignant or pointless. We share all. Just make sure I get it back!
Please give me advice because I am usually sloppy, borrowing is a nasty reason to earn without any intention to give it back.
Those things all grow back. I can not loan my instinct, reason or experience. You have plenty. Advice? What advice might a bottom feeder offer a sky sorcerer? Sloppy, I give lessons in. Borrowing is inference of commitment. To borrow in bad faith, you are not capable of. Those that do pay severely, and not because of anything we did out of spite, vengeance or restitution. “Everyone gets what’s coming to them and none of us need deliver it” -Mi Oon-
The wisdom of catfish and his inspirator was well received and greatly appreciated.
OUR wisdom. Bubbles…
My heart has been broken so many times, it is shattered but remains to beat.
I should have said.. it continues to beat.
The burden of your mission is tough but you always get through it, right?
Beautiful poem, thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much, Mommy
This piece is very thought provoking. I liked it! ok you get another A+ lol
Actually, this is a joke in a poetic wrap. Have I written it too seriously? If I got an A + for this joke then I am cum laude comedian!
I like it. The space in my heart has been for 25 years
Has someone rented space in your heart for 25 years? He’s definitely not a tenant but a permanent resident!
It is wonderful when a neighbor is in the heart. And he stays there for life
Have you also rented some space in your heart, Elenka?
