I am a big movie fan. Any genre will do, but I prefer the old sci-fi movies of the 1950’s. Most of my caricatures are of movie stars from the 1950’s or earlier. So, hopefully the younger generation on Virily will recognize them.

John Wayne was an outspoken critic of communism and the Soviet Union. It is alleged that Stalin wanted him assassinated because of his anti-communist views. In 1979, Wayne was awarded the Congressional Medal and then, in 1980, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

When I was in my early teens, I worked as a soda jerk at the Farmer's Market in Hollywood, California. One of my favorite customers was Groucho Marx. He was very soft spoken and very much a gentleman. He would always be wearing a black beret and vest sweater when he came in for an ice cream cone.
