Saturday, March 7, 2020

This evening, I watched Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story on the indie channel. It was interesting but sad movie. It was interesting because of the cool karate moves, but it was sad because Bruce Lee died at the age of 32. He fell into a coma and died, according to the movie. He had a brain aneurysm on Friday, July 20, 1973. He had a brain edema from a reaction to a prescription painkiller.  Lee was buried at Capitol Hill’s Lake View Cemetery in Seattle, Washington.

Bruce Lee was born Lee Jun-Fan on November 27, 1940 in Chinese Hospital, San Francisco, California. He died on July 20, 1973, in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. But his wife, Linda Lee Cadwell brought his body back to America so that he would be near his family. He was five feet and eight inches tall.  They had two kids, Brandon Lee and Shannon Lee.

Brandon Lee was born on February 1, 1965 in Oakland, California, but died on March 31, 1993 in Wilmingon, NC on the set of The Crow. He was 6 feet tall. He was buried on April 3, 1993 in Lake View Cemetery, Seattle, Washington, near his father’s grave.
