When I was in my early teens, I worked as a soda jerk at the Farmer’s Market in Hollywood, California. One of my favorite customers was Groucho Marx. He was very soft spoken and very much a gentleman. He would always be wearing a black beret and vest sweater when he came in for an ice cream cone.
