Fractal Art Using Mixed Media

I love to use real world images and digital graphics mixed in with the Fractal Art that I create.

Sometimes I cut out certain objects from photos and add them in to a fractal art piece as a composite layer on top of the fractal.

Other times, I will add a photo or part of one into the actual fractal calculations as part of the whole fractal work.

I hope you will enjoy these types of mixed media fractal art and let me know your thoughts and even your request for new ones!

You will find at least one more mixed media Fractal Art piece in my profile images.

Warrior Shield

Warrior Shield is another fractal flame background which is being used as a frame for the old black and white photo of an American Indian Warrior.

The photo is from a collection of old photos which are from an archive collection of American Indian photos.

I took the photo from the collection and post-processed it in a couple of different programs that add filters and enhancements to images.

Sewing The Seeds Of Fractals

Sewing The Seeds Of Fractals is a composite fractal art piece. I saw this old Singer Sewing Machine and knew that I had this fractal art that resembles some kind of material that could be sewn into a wonderful piece of clothing!

So, put both into my design program and mixed them into this crazy composite Fractal Art piece!

It is also featured in one of my print books of my artwork. Soon to be available as a Kindle book on Amazon and also on my website.

Anonymous Is Everyone Everywhere

Anonymous Is Everyone Everywhere uses an image that is directly added into the calculations that create the Fractal Art.

You can use a transformation in the the formula which is called a ColorMap and this allows for the adding in of a photo or other graphic image to the whole process of creating the fractal.

The image in this particular piece is an image that has been taken as a symbol by the group Anonymous.

The mask itself was first made famous by the film "V for Victory", which was the first I believe of the Anonymous type films.
