Four Background Drop pictures

I recently joined “Guru Shots” and there are 3 of my entries except one, I put in a photo of Cornwall park on a misty day.

Photography is all about trial and error. You certainly learn composition with experience. Now I did not go to photography school or even to computer school. I am self taught.

I did get a qualification in Art & Creativity for 3 & 1/2 years training from a correspondence school. The Learning Connextion, it’s equivalent to a BA in fine Arts. I am glad I had the experience of training with the Learning Connextion. I learned a lot about creativity.

#1 Mangere Bridge Sunset

We went to see a friend and evening drew the daylight to a close. They have a house on Mangere Bridge.

The end of the day in a spectacular way.

I often walk with my neighbour and dear friend Rai, we walked quite a way from our home and I saw this view from the road side.

It's been in my photo file for a while but I have always liked it.

The colour of the sea is different from the darker blue background and pulls the beach forward, and the water upfront has sand underneath and so the different colour pulls the beach front forward

A lot of pulling forward and pushing back is done with the arrangement of colour.

I believe I sold a print of this photo. It was taken in the mist and the fog.

Always liked this one as well. As a photographer all I've done is to point and shoot. However, sometimes it takes time to compose the picture in the right form.

You can emphasise the point of view by how you compose the photo.
