My newest art project is an altered book/art journal. I took and old hard covered book and painted over the front and back covers, and the spine. Then I began a sketch of a butterfly on the front cover. I removed some of the pages throughout the book , as I plan on creating collages on some of the pages, and I don’t want the journal to get too thick.
I may incorporate some of the drawings in the book in my artwork, as there are some interesting drawings of medieval life. I probably won’t work on this project daily, as I already have several projects going, and my days are pretty full right now.
