I finally got out on the bike after taking a month off to accomplish other challenges. If I can recall, I do not think I have ever taken a month off from cycling unless it was during the winter months where the weather as well as roads kept me from going out. I want to point out a skyscraper that I have never gotten a picture of called Vista Tower. I have been riding this route for months now, but never took a picture of it. Before winter gets here and those fall temperatures drop I would like to get a up close picture of the tower. It’s beautiful, yes indeed! That, as well as a Do Rite Donut pit stop were the highlights of this ride, hehe. The legs felt strong despite my time away. Depending on my mood this week, I would like to get out and discover a new route. I hope everyone is having a great day.

I will be posting everynow and then. Just took a hiatus.
You are active here and it is a motivation.
cool photos. My sneakers are Aiscs. I used to have sketchers but i wore them out. I need to go out and take photos with my camera, but i cant find anywhere interesting to photograph. it is all the same thing. i need something different to photograph because i still use film, and i dont want to waste my film.
I understand that. I wouldn’t want to just waste my film, too. Asics are a good brand. There was a point when it was all I wore.
i bought mine from Nordstrom Rack
Nice outfit and the scenery is beautiful. Thanks for the photos.
Thanks, Carol. It was beautiful and with a tolerable temperature
You are definitely in Tour de France mode since the Tour started back up this week.
I wasn’t aware of the tour being up, but will look it up now. I do wish strava had better cycling challenges versus just hitting a certain mileage.
Yeah, I haven’t watched any of the Tour de France yet – I usually wait until they start cycling in the Alps. Strava should do challenges that mirror the terrain of different road courses.
I’m sure I will catch it though. They have a strava challenge this weekend, a 20 miler. I wanted to do it, but the qualification is to ride on gravel terrain.
There’s no gravel terrain in Chicago. You might have to do this one at a quarry or something.
I’m not doing it because my bike isn’t designed for off road terrain like that. My tires would be flat really quick.
Biking is one fun exercise especially when you have friends to go biking with you.
I miss the days of biking with my now ex-girlfriend
Looking at my collage, I just realized that I have no butt, lol.
