The Ivan Vazov National Theater is the most authoritative theater in Bulgaria and one of the most important landmarks of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. It’s also my favorite building in the city.
The theater was designed by the famous Viennese theater architects Hermann Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner in the Neoclassical style. It was founded in 1904, but the bombing of Sofia in World War II caused considerable damage to the building. It was reconstructed in 1945.
I like the fountain in front of the theater
Thank you so much, glad you like it!
