To get a better idea of what a Townsend’s Warbler looks like, here is a short clip of one taking a bath. It does vocalize while bathing, though the song isn’t loud and is pleasant. The song is also easy to miss. This also shows that this is a bird that isn’t tremendously shy. It is using a regular birdbath of the sort a person might put into their yards and doesn’t seem to be the slightest bit concerned that it is being filmed. Just look at that face!

Delightful video and that bird is lucky to have such a bath, I often saw the many city pigeons in Riga, Latvia bathing in dirty city puddles
A lot of people in the US put out birdbaths. We don’t, but that is just because we have nowhere to put one.
