Lightweight Khama #Death Star” Worthy knocked out Devonte Smith in the first round of the main event of the preliminary bouts at UFC 241 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. Smith was looking to make a huge step forward after knocking out his last two opponents.
However, Worthy was ready for the challenge even though he accepted this fight on four days notice. Smith was scheduled to fight Clay Collard, but Collard had to pull out of the fight due to a late injury in training. Even though Worthy did not have enough time to train for the fight, he was prepared. That preparation paid off as he knocked out Smith in the first round with a counter left hook that Smith did not see. For the win, Worthy won a $50,000 performance bonus.
The lesson learned is that one should never give up on their dreams and to always be prepared to take advantage of an opportunity.
a bit off topic, but did you hear about the guy who tried to mug a female UFC fighter?
Yeah, it happened back in January of this year. She beat the dog snot out of the guy.

However, she just lost her last UFC fight a couple of weeks ago.
yeah, but to my way of thinking, she won the one that counted
According to the fight announcer, Worthy and Smith are good friends that’s why it is unthinkable that Khama would ruin the undefeated record of Smith.
Yeah, it happens sometimes due to circumstances where friends have to fight each other in the UFC. There’s no way to avoid it.
Wow a knockout in the first round with only 4 days’ notice!
Wish this game best of luck
