My uncle had an alligator farm in the everglades somewhere. He was always inviting us down and I had no interest what-so-ever. Now that I have seen this I wish I would have gone. He has since passed away the we told his neighbors to do whatever they thought best with his belongings. None of his immediate family was interested. Now I would at least like to fly over the place!
I wonder if I will ever really want to go anywhere but home? I know I wouldn’t leave the country the way things are and I know there are many places in the country I wouldn’t feel safe now.
It’s kind of a sad commentary.
Good photo , Which animals live in the Everglades?
I have given up travel now but do regret not visiting Alaska.
I hope that someday I can see the Everglades and yes, too bad you never went to that alligator farm.
Once I have been in alligators farm in Miami, but it was many years ago. Unforgettable memories.
Were they good or bad memories?
I love the Everglades. We always see some sort of wildlife.
I do like to see wildlife, but pretty nervous of the kind of wildlife.
I went on an airboat into the Everglades when in Miami on a business trip. It was interesting to see the animals in their native land.
I couldn’t live there.
I don’t imagine I would do well.
The airboat was big and until just now I was pretty sure it wouldn’t sink,
I understand what you are saying. There are many other countries I have always wanted to visit. But I am afraid to leave the country now, would I ever return safely!
It’s sad but true. Times have changed.
