Well, it’s weekends and my mum and sister are “up to something” again … Mum have seen a video online which make “Mi hun guey” which is what you see in the cover photo. I can’t really describe it, but its something close to a pizza …just that the ingredients are inside the “base” instead of on top and that it’s fry and not baked.
It’s really easy to make – diced (very finely) carrot, onions (optional) and scallions.
Mix 300g flour with 5 egg yolks and 360ml of cold (room temp) water.
Mixture well till no lumps, and then beat the egg white slightly, and mix into the mixture.
Add all ingredients in.
Sprinkle some salt.
Pan fry.

It looks very tasty …..
Thank you, vidocka, it tastes good!
Looks very tasty but I would probably put something else instead of shrimps…I never always stick strictly to a recipe but get the general idea. Usually works out well
Yes, I agree… we added ingredients to our liking too…
like shrimps … hehe
it goes well with most things, it’s just like a plain base …
This must be delicious , Thank you for sharing
Thank you for dropping by, Witty.
come have a piece … 🙂
Seems easy to do and I believe my kids will like it, I will try it 😉 thanks for sharing.
I’m glad you like it 🙂
It’s easy to make 🙂
Is it similar to a pancake? I’d like to try it too.
Well, it’s more saltish (pancake is more of sweet), depending one how much salt you add. but I must say it taste better when slightly saltish.
Think of a pizza crush, similar.
I would like it with the prawns in it.
Yes, the prawn adds a lot of flavour!!
it is like Marco Polo just went around China looking at food and saying “You know what would go great with this? Red sauce!!!”
And cheese!! Lol
and some chilli flakes :p
yeah, he ended up throwing those in, too…
Cubans do something similar but with pork and baked in an oven. I will try this, too, but without sketches.
I guess most culture have food similar to this …
it’s just flour with some ingredients …
