Chinese “pizza”?

Well, it’s weekends and my mum and sister are “up to something” again … Mum have seen a video online which make “Mi hun guey” which is what you see in the cover photo. I can’t really describe it, but its something close to a pizza …just that the ingredients are inside the “base” instead of on top and that it’s fry and not baked.

It’s really easy to make – diced (very finely) carrot, onions (optional) and scallions.

Mix 300g flour with 5 egg yolks and 360ml of cold (room temp) water.

Mixture well till no lumps, and then beat the egg white slightly, and mix into the mixture.

Add all ingredients in.

Sprinkle some salt.

Pan fry.

  1. Looks very tasty but I would probably put something else instead of shrimps…I never always stick strictly to a recipe but get the general idea. Usually works out well

    • Well, it’s more saltish (pancake is more of sweet), depending one how much salt you add. but I must say it taste better when slightly saltish.

Think of a pizza crush, similar.
