falling
as though snow
each flake unique
but none a snowflake
each
part of a grander plan
each part of the whole
flying through
the air
to land
on the edge of a shoulder
or the corner of an ear
and exploding.
Each flight
a little wobbly
as though a toddler taking flight
for the first time
not the perfection
that would be
achieved later initiated the imperfect
nonspherical reality
that
wobbling
to the edge of the ear
exploding into laughter…

Realizing that I didn’t close to snow, it was quite difficult to imagine everything that had to do with it. To the maximum, I can only guess that it’s something fun.
Snowball heaving is quite fun, unless you pick the wrong target (say my wife for example) then it can be quite dangerous 🙂
Now I’m trying to imagine that fun!
It is one of the great joys of winter. Until, you get hit around the neck and the cold melting snow moves down your body!
Actually, no. But I will hazard a guess that you are describing atoms ??? at least, that is how it runs in my mind while reading it ? lovely poem Doc ??
The act of throwing a snowball at someone that isn’t watching!
I want to say snowflake, but I don’t know.
so close a snowball! Great guess though!
