Winter has barely begun and I’m already thinking about summer. I also found a picture of the ferry port in the image archive. When I was spending holidays on the islands, I had to use ferry services for part of the route. I took a picture from the café when I was waiting for the ferry. I was interested in how the sea looks in black and white. It’s not as beautiful as the blue sea, but it’s still interesting. I thought about the times when all the images were black and white and are still interesting today.

A ferry, something I have not used for long to cross between islands here … Even have to travel for hours to get to the port.

one of our favorite summer places is Oak Island in North Carolina. The aquarium, which we love to visit is only reachable by boat, or by ferry!
