I have been blogging about my backyard bluebirds. This is the second brood of 2018. So exciting to watch. In case you missed my last update you can read it here: Egg Update. That was posted two days ago. The female lays one egg per day. Yesterday I checked the nest to see if there were any more and this is what I saw…
Yes that is right. We now have had four eggs for two days. I think she is done. And now the process begins… again in my backyard. I will keep you posted and hope things work out and no predators visit the nest. Thank you for those who have been encouraging and excited for me as this is a big deal each year. And the best part is the house is right in the middle of Dustin’s garden.

Wow, Carol… So glad to know that the new bluebirds family on your backyard has four eggs now… so fascinating!
Yes the excitement begins again! Cannot wait for a new family. I see the other babies flying around in the trees in the backyard. The parents keep them away form the house and new eggs. They try to help but their help us not needed. Hard lessons they are learning.
