There are many deserts in the world and nearly everyone knows of at least one or two by name. Almost all of them are interesting in one way or another and a lot of them have been studied at length. However, there is a lot of information about deserts that many people don’t know. It is worthwhile to learn about them, even if you have no intention of living in a desert or even visiting one.
If for no other reason than the amount of the planet that is a desert region, an attempt should be made to gain a better understanding of deserts. This quiz about deserts is meant as a step toward learning more about the desert areas of our planet. This isn’t meant to be a difficult quiz, but rather one that might encourage you to think more carefully about deserts.

Quiz: How Much Do You Know About Deserts
You got 7 out of 10 right!
That is a very good score! Nicely done!
Very interesting, I like this sort of quiz
I’m glad that you do. This is the sort of quiz that I like to write.
I missed two, I couldn’t remember where the hottest was recorded here or there. Sighs, and then I got #8 wrong, I picked 5000 feet. Good and fun quiz.
I’ll write about it in more detail later, but the hottest was in Death Valley. I just wrote about the desert alluded to in #8.
Right here at my back door, figures. lol I first read desserts instead of deserts, so I was glad you didn’t make me hungry.
Hmm…I’ll have to give some thought about a recipe for the hottest dessert. LOL
Three out of ten on this quiz.
I’m getting the idea that people tend to know a lot more about rivers and mountains than about deserts. :)) That is a good thing, though. That shows a topic that people can learn a great deal more about. In the near future, I will probably write in a bit more detail, regarding the answers to these questions.
I loom forward to seeing more post about deserts.
What a terrible score. Only 2 right.
My guess is that you don’t especially like deserts? lol As long as you learned something, you can just remember that you DID get 2 right!
I only scored 2 points :))) But, I learned some new things.
I go 6 correct out of 10. I shocked myself lol
That is a good score! Way to go!
Got 5 right and learned a lot about deserts. Great quiz!
That is a good score and I’m glad you learned something new. A lot of people don’t know much about deserts even if they live in the desert. lol
