Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, England, has been quite spectacular over the weekend of 16th and 17th June. There has been an air show which has brought thousands of people to the town for the show. There have been various displays including airshows from all sorts of flying displays and people parachuting out of planes.
But the main display which people flocked to the town to see was The Red Arrows display. As you can see from the picture, they put on an excellent display across the town. It has been excellent for the town to see so many people come here. Extra measures had to be put into place due to the extra traffic coming to the town. But it has been wonderful to see so many visitors come to the town! The beach has been packed with people viewing the different displays. I hope the display will go ahead again in 2019. The general consensus is that it’s been a success. From what I’ve read people have enjoyed it’s brought such a buzz to the town.
These are the real masters of flying
They certainly are lado. They are so talented.
Talented and brave – these are my real heroes
When I was in high school we had a jet that was doing a fly over crash. This was a very long time ago. This year was the first year I could actually go to an airshow.
Oh that’s sad. I’ve heard of instances of that in the past where they’ve crashed. Terrible tragedy. They are good to watch though when they go well.
My kid sister used to love airshows
Yes, it’s great to see. I really enjoyed watching them fly over.
Supersonic speeds are damn cool on a conceptual level but dull to watch (quicker than the human eye)
I love airshows. That looks really fun.
Looks like a fun filled event to attend.
Sounds very exciting, and thank you for sharing it.
Thankyou, it was an excellent weekend. =)
